What is the best natural sinus medicine?
October 11th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I have been getting colds or sinus infections every other week.
I have had sinus pressure, congestion, dizziness, headache etc
Any good natural medicines to take to help or prevent this? Looking for something that works really well and I can take regularly?
Thanks!

I’ve been using Sinus Buster, it’s basically pepper spray that you spray in your nose. It burns like crazy, but only for a minute. I get sinus headaches, stuffy nose at night and when the weather changes, this stuff has really helped. It’s all natural. I haven’t had a cold yet this year, so I don’t know how it works with that.
You can Google and see the website, find stores that sell it.

Hi, I only use therapeutic grade essential oils in my medicine cabinet. The amazing thing is that they work in your body and then leave instead of accumulating in your cells and fatty tissue creating even more problems! I use a blend called Thieves and R.C.. These and others can be preventative to support your immune system and then also to assist you while you’re experiencing symptoms.
Please feel free to contact me if you have further questions.

Using a neti pot. It’s basically nasal irrigation, can be done up to 4 times a day. It’s safe, no side effects. I use a weak saline solution for mine. I used to have congestion and sinus headaches all the time, but this has really worked for me.
Here’s more info on it:

Fill up a large mixing bowl with hot water, not too hot that it hurts though, place it next to your bahtroom sink…..dip your face in and breathe in some of the water up your nose and into your sinuses, then shoot the water out your nose into the sink. This works really good at clearing up sinuses.

echinacea is a good immunity booster that will help you kick a cold and keep it from coming back. i have also heard that garlic is good at keeping the common cold away, so eat as much as you can. don’t forget your vitamin c………..

I have chronic sinus disease and I take Zyrtec daily. 10mg and as long as I take it every day I don’t have the sinus headaches, but if I stop taking the for a few days I am in the bed with a headache that I can’t hardly get rid of. You may think that they are not doing anything, but just keep taking them they do work. You should ask your doctor first before taking them though. If you are taking any medications at this time it could react to them and cause you problems. Good luck

My husband uses this to keep from getting bronchitis, and I use to to cure sinus infections. THere are many kinds of bacteria that live in the sinuses, and this gets rid of all the bad ones!.This is the only thing that really helped me — my Dr. told me about a sinus wash that will kill bacteria.
you need
distilled water
sea salt
liquid chlorophyll and colloidal silver from the health food store.
in a glass mix 1/4 cup water with a pinch of salt and heat to body temperature.
add 5 drops each silver and chlorophyll and mix.
using a large dropper (like one used for infant medication) drop 2 full droppersfull into one side of the nose while laying down.
Turn the head and let it drain out the other nostril. Be sure to have paper towels handy.
The silver kills the bacteria and there are several hundred kind that can live in the sinus cavities and anti biotics don’t get rid of them all.
Do this twice a day for a week, mixing up the mixture fresh each time.
Then do it once a week for maintenance.
There is nothing in this that will hurt you, and it cured me.
I do not have to take claritin, or antibiotics anymore.
best wishes
