Do you all think that one day there is going to be an epidemic that will break out of a rage virus?

I have this interest for biology and viruses, I have been thinking about an epidemic breaking out of a virus that is so deadly and fast that humans would not be able to control it. A virus like the ones that have been shown on movies like 28 days later, 28 weeks later, Resident Evil….Do you all think that someone is working on a virus that potent, maybe a pharmaceutical company, our government, or another nation. On the movie 28 days later a monkey infected with a “rage” virus bit a human being and that started an epidemic of a virus that drove humans to kill each other. The virus spread so fast that it was pretty much impossible to escape the infected humans, doesn’t that sound like the scariest thing? What do you all think, is the fear of the emergence of such a virus real?

well yesterday i went over my uncles house i think i ate too much kinds of different foods because when i came back i barfed. So then i went to sleep and in the middle of the night i vomited alot of times. Then in the mourning alot more times. What made u feel better(drinks,food) that you had.

What is wrong with me?

I’m pretty sure I have some sort of cold or flu. This has been going on now for about 3 days and It’s starting to bug me. At first I thought it was a sinus infection, but I’m not smelling that sinus smell when you would have one… Symptoms:
Trouble swallowing
Stuffed nose
Sinus Pain
Ears feel like they are swelling (inside)
Cough

Is there bird flu in Sweden?

I’m a naturally anxious person. Therefore, when my lab partner returned from a visit to Sweden coughing his lungs out and managed to pass it on to me, I immediately flew into a fit of panic, searching for what it might be, if not the common cold. To tell the truth,I was terrified to find that Sweden has announced bird flu within its borders in previous years. Unlikely to mutate, I know, but I’m still scared.

How can I prevent getting the stomach flu?

It’s going around where I live right now and while I know I still have a chance of getting it, I would like to know if there’s anything I can do to prevent this. I have a phobia of throwing up and I just don’t have time to be sick right now. I’ve got a bunch of stuff I have to do at school and if I miss even a day, I’ll be really behind! Can anyone help? (Especially doctors and professionals)
