What causes high white blood count and high sed rate?

hello, I have been sick for several weeks now. First I had a bad cold then the flu. It has been two weeks since the flu and my body still aches. I am talking I cant lift my 15 month old son from his crib because my fingers and wrists hurt. I hurt everywhere. I went to the doc and he ran blood tests. He said everything came back normal except high white blood count and high Sed rate. He has no clue whats going on….Can anyone give me some answers???? ~still in pain

Are value meals the real cause of the obesity epidemic in America?

Think about it, these value meals are promoted to customers first and foremost. Most people order them instead of ordering their hamburgers or nuggets because you’re basically getting the fries for free, or the drink, depending on how you look at it.

That’s millions of Americans unwittingly eating fries that they didn’t want in the first place. These are salty, fatty and generally not good to be eaten all the time. However, it comes with the value meal, so it’s eaten, regardless.

I didn’t really start gaining weight until I started eating fries a lot. There’s a correlation. I ate it in the car after school was over in junior high, and my cafeteria offered it everyday in my Catholic high school. I noticed in the public schools I subbed in that fries weren’t offered with the hamburgers.

If the ordering at most of these places promoted a la carte ordering, I believe the obesity epidemic would be stemmed because most people would probably save on ordering the fries and drink and just get the sandwich or nuggets. Instead of suggesting to people that they order fries and a drink to complete the meal, how about ordering another hamburger of a small size and getting a water, if you so please?

How to manually restore my computer if a virus deleted all my previous restore points?

I downloaded a file with a huge virus in it that majorly screwed up my computer. It deleted all my system restore points including the original restore point among other things. Now I have a new laptop and I am giving the old computer to my sister. I need to know how to restore it manually.

The computer did NOT come with a disk and it is a Hp using Windows XP

Does this sound like the flu or a cold?

I like only get sick 2-3 times a year.. this year I have got sick like 5 or 6 times… ugh… I feel really weak all over! I am at work and I shouldn’t be! my nose is stuffy when i sit and lay down but when i am standing it is clear… not runny… i want to throw up but cant. I keep getting chills and yesterday I Had a fever and I think I have a fever again. my throat is sore. and it is taking almost all my energy to breath and to talk.

Has anybody had a virus that lasted a over a month?

I have been sick for a month now. After two different types of antibiotic I am sure its a virus. I cough up a lot of clear phlegm in the morning. I am starting to get scared because it is affecting my asthma and I have never been sick for this long before. What do I have? Do people have viruses that last this long? I have taken Prednisone but it only made it seem worse. What should I do?

is there anything else i can do?

so i just got really sick over the weekend. and i finally decided to take mdicine. i stayed home from school today(and tomorrow) and this morning i took 600mg of ibuprofen. 1000mg of vitamin c. a dose of dayquil. 2-25mg of benadryl. and an allergy pill…ive als been drinkin flat lemon lime soda, hot tea with lemon and honey, and eating popsicles to help my throat. disease? i have the cold.flu.strep throat.and a sinus infection. and my voice has gone bye bye….is there anything else i can do?

I quit smoking but even being outside near second hand smoke causes headaches. Is it chemical psychological?

I seem to get migraines for long periods of time and also get dizzy being near smokers and smelling the second hand smoke. I quit smoking 7 months ago.
