how long is this flu gonna last?

ive been have symptoms since sunday night. i have a high fever. 104 although it fluctuates . between 102.8 103.4 and 104. i drank some coke this morning..and got up..i could barely walk..i was sweating heavily and i fell on the bathroom floor. tylonel doesn’t make much difference. my taste buds are thrown off and water tastes funny. any advice?

Sick baby with low white blood cell count?

The reason I need to know this is a long story, which I don’t feel like typing 
But when an infant (12 months) is sick, with a suspected virus, shouldn’t their white blood cell count be elevated, because the white blood cells are supposed to fight infection? What would it mean if an infant was sick (cold/flu symptoms, high fever) for 5 days and had a WBC count which was below the normal range for a healthy infant?

I feel the flu coming on and this is seriously NOT a good time to get sick (not that anytime is a good time to get sick, but you know what I mean…). Any ideas on how I can stop this? I’ve already had a flu shot this year.

Can cold air hurt a ear infection in a child?

My son who is 2 has a double ear infection.With the cold air here in indiana,can it hurt my child’s ear? like do I need to covor his ears if we go outside.Is it a old wives tale about the cotton in the ears during the treatment of meds.
