What blood pressure medicine causes the least number of side effects?

I’m 26, F and have unexplained high bp. I don’t like ACE inhibitors as I always seem dizzy and coughing and have trouble fighting off colds. Any good recommendations?

Is Flu-like feeling an early pregnancy symptom?

My period is due in one week. Yesterday I had weird, light cramps in my lower abdomen, like twinges on my left side every now and then with a dull crampy feel all day. Now I woke up early today because I felt nauseated and couldn’t sleep, then I had diarrhea. As the day has progressed, I have light flu-like symptoms now. Like achy all over, and feel drained, with an upset stomach. Not bad enough to go home from work, but I don’t feel like myself.

Also my bbt was really high this morning, 98.9, at this stage in my cycle, I’m usually around 98.4-98.5.

Isn’t it too early to be having pregnancy symptoms if I was pregnant, I’m only 7dpo?

Any similar experiences?

How small does a company have to be to NOT offer health/medical insurance?

I always thought that if a company has 20 or more employees at a SINGLE location, they have to offer health/medical insurance to ALL the eployees. I work in a store that employs 25 people, and only the managers are offered insurance.
I live in the state of WV, if that helps, although I could have sworn it was a Federal law, but I could be wrong.
Where would I look on the internet to find out this information? I need to clarify a few things…first, my employers own 5 Dairy Queens, 5 car washes, 2 other ice cream places, about 3 oil change places, not to mention the emplyees in the home offices. In my store alone, there are about 25 employeess. What I’m most confused about is, is it when the single location has “X” number of employees that the employer is required to offer insurance, or when the comapany as a whole has more that “X” number of employees? I had to have surgery last year, and because I was not offered insurance, I now have to work two full time jobs to pay the bills. My new, second job offers insurance, but because the first one didn’t, and they should have, do I have legal recourse to ask job #1 to pay the bills, and offer all the employees insurance?

Why is there a Cold and Flu “season”? Why don’t we get sick all year around?

Bosco, I thought it may be due to the weather conditions, but it seems the sick season is nation-wide. It can be freezing cold in Michigan but hot and sunny in Arizona.
aWell, it thought of that too, but it seems your exposed to more cold dry air in an eclosed spaces in summer when the air conditioning is blowing all over, the house, office, train, mall ect.

Important question.please answer?

I’m almost 19 weeks pregnant. Me and my husband live in an older home (building a new one shortly after our baby is born) and we have a wood stove as our main heat source in the winter. It doesn’t give off smoke in the house, there is a pipe that releases the smoke outdoors (a flu). Just wondering if it is safe to use during pregnancy… ?
