Is re-infection possible after root canal and abscess surgery completed?

I had a root canal and the abscess had moved into my gum - I had oral surgery to drain the abscess and then got the root canal finished. Now, about 2 weeks later, I have an “infection taste” in my mouth similar to before the root canal. Could the infection have returned? Or could it be the meds still in the tooth from the root canal?

A couple of Flu questions?

I have the flu pretty bad, and I have a few questions:
9 Comments1. I haven’t eaten in almost 24 hours and I think that’s part of what’s making me feel sick, but every time I eat something I just throw it up again. Should I eat anyway, or just drink?
2. I’ve been in bed most of the day and getting the usual extreme chill, while sweating bullets at the same time. If I sleep in that bed tonight will I reinfect myself with the sweat and whatnot?
3. Any tips? I’m drinking tea, trying to keep warm, drinking juice, taking pain killers, and resting alot.

Why do doctors keep prescribing antibiotics for the flu when antibiotics are powerless against viruses?

Antibiotics are anti-bacterial, not anti-viral and doctors know that full well so why do they keep giving people antibiotics for no reason when they know that they will do more harm than good? Haven’t they pledged to do “no harm”?

My girlfriend is 15wks pregnant with twins. My question is, is it normal for her to often have headaches?

We know that she can’t take excedrin or asprin. Is there anything safe that she can do or take to relieve this?
She does take Tylenol but says that that doesn’t work for her.

i know that the stomach flu causes symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps, loss of appetite, muscle aches, low grade fever and chills. and i have all of that!

I have been feeling better that past couple days, and today i woke up sore all over like i had been working out, and i have not, and lost all my energy. it feels like you do when you have a fever… just drained. i am sorry to ask, but i can’t find any answers on the web. I just need to know is it really possible to be sick with both at the same time?

take on the population at such an alarming rate that it is soon inthe next 2 years going to reach 75% of the population, and is slowly reaching black communities abroad such as the US, but nobody seems to care. Black leaders(Sharpton & Jackson) are doing nothing and say nothing while their people in the next 10 years won’t be around. Why dont they do something?

What treatment’s are available for end stage liver disease?

My uncle has been diagnosed with end stage liver disease, he has been told that he has less than 6 months to live by two out of three doctors. One doctor has given him hope, what treatment’s are out there? Herbal, or otherwise. Are there any recommendations on specialist to treat this anywhere? Would like to hear of any experience’s good or bad, all comments are welcome.
