Can I get sick from having ***?

I know this might seem like a weird question, but I was wondering if I could get sick from *** if my husband is currently sick. No kissing involved, but we don’t use condoms (I’m on the pill). Does ***** carry cold/flu viruses?

Can the flu cause a late period?

My period has always been extremely on time, even when I’ve been sick with a cold or flu. It was due last Wednesday and the following Saturday I started coming down with the flu. I have some mild cramps, nausea and vomiting but any of those things could be due to the flu. Today (6 days late) I had some very light pink spotting that just showed up on the toilet paper. I’m wondering if the flu is probably the cause of this, or if this sounds like pregnancy? All experiences welcome. Thanks.

Why is there a Cold and Flu “season”? Why don’t we get sick all year around?

Bosco, I thought it may be due to the weather conditions, but it seems the sick season is nation-wide. It can be freezing cold in Michigan but hot and sunny in Arizona.
aWell, it thought of that too, but it seems your exposed to more cold dry air in an eclosed spaces in summer when the air conditioning is blowing all over, the house, office, train, mall ect.

When should I see a doctor about my cough?

My whole family had a virus last weekend ( your typical cold / flu). They have all gotten better, but I developed a cough. It kept me up all night, and I was coughing up stuff (TMI, I know… I’m sorry). I can’t take a cough syrup like Robitussin because it makes me violently ill.

I don’t want to go to the doctor if it is just a virus. What signs and symptoms should I look for to know I need to go?

What kind of fruit helps a bad cold/flu?

I am traveling to the east coast of Australia tomorrow and I don’t want this cold/flu to be bothering me on my vacation. Do you guys know of any fruit/vegetables that would help my illness? Also is there anything else I should be doing?

P.S. Don’t say Oranges or Orange Juice (too obvious)

Is it normal to have cold/flu for two weeks? I feel like dying?

Okay two weeks ago I started to get sick. You know, exhaustion, sneezing, watery eyes, coughing, etc. At the start of the second week I began to feel extreme muscle fatigue, loss of smell, ears started to hurt, loss of taste buds, still coughing, runny nose, etc. This cold/flu has last two weeks and doesn’t seem to be getting any better.

I called the nurse line and she said to just ride it out cause it’s viral. Is this fuggin’ normal? Two weeks of sickness? What can I do to make this go away? It hurts to move.

Is it just a cold?

I have been ill for a week…it has been getting worse and I have only felt this way once, when I had pneumonia.

I have a terrible cough, the kind that makes you feel like your choking! I also find myself coughing everytime I open my mouth to talk, or when I try to take a deep breath. The cough is also accompanied by night sweats, mild fever or chills, and just starting today a sore throat. This is gross, but yes I do get phlem…sometimes. It’s so hard to get out but when I do it is either yellowish or green…ewww…sorry guys :(
I went to the doctor on Tuesday because I felt like I was going to pass out. He asked the questions while his res tested me…she said that my lungs were clear so he gave me cough medicine and sent me home.

This doesn’t feel like an ordinary cold/flu to me. Feels more like an infection! Anyone out there experience these symptoms before? Should I go back to the doctor, or just chill? Oh, and yes…I have already taken 3 days off work
