Is there a new spring flu going around?
5 CommentsI recently came down with an odd set of symptoms, not typical flu, but enough to leave me weak and run down.
- Swollen tonsil (no pain)
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
- Hard time sleeping
- Fatigue

Was I misdiagnosed with a 3 week long stomach flu?

I have had these symptoms for 3 weeks now and the doctor I went to says that it is the stomach flu?
-inconsistant diarreha (meaning one day I will severly have it many times a day and then the next day I won’t have it)
-Upper left abdomanal like bloating/pressure
-fatigue and tiredness
-feeling of like im going to faint sometimes
-gas
Can this really be the stomach flu?

I have a new fever after being sick with the flu-should I be worried?

I was sick with the flu for about 4 days–fever 102-104, deep cough, stuffy nose, body aches, headache, and severe fatigue. My fever went away for about a day and a half and I started feeling better. Today my head started pounding again, I have a low-grade fever and I’m still congested with a bad cough.Is this normal after having the flu, or am I getting sick with something new?

doctors dont know what is wrong.
doctors doesnt know whats wrong and in the hospital on antibotics. the medicine not working.
on antobotics but not working .on oxegenand breathing treatment. low oxygen but blood test is normal . been in hospital for a week doctors don;t know what is wrong

Flu symptoms recent strain, midwest?

There’s a nasty flu bug going on around here that has people getting sick left and right. I don’t know whether I’m talking myself into being sick or if I’m actually getting some symptoms. I’m having digestive issues and starting to feel a little sore throat and fatigue is starting to hit me like a freight train. What can I expect during the full course of this virus, if that’s what it is?

My blister have scabbed up and are starting too dissapear. However, Ive had flu like symptoms….headache, muscle aches,fatigue…I read this is normal can someone confirm? Also, i read the first outbreak is the worst. Will I alsways have flu like symptoms in future outbreaks or is noramlly the first only. I read the body is making anitbodies in the begiinning to fight the virus. Please confirm.

Can you have a mild case of mono without some symptoms?

I had not been feeling well recently so i went to the doctor to check it out. At first they didnt know what i had until i went in for a blood test the other day which revealed that i had mono. My question is has anyone had any experience with having a mild case of mono with a cold and and slightly swollen glands and slight fatigue but nothing else. Symptoms showed up 3 weeks ago….do i just have a mild case of mono or are the symptoms going to get worse.

The night before last I went out with some friends drinking, had alot of whiskey and am still sick.
Now I quit drinking last morning so yesterday morning and am now still sick! What do I do? Not to mention the night before that night I drank as well(vodka) 3 days in a row of heavy drinking or the flu.
HELP!
