I’ve heard that pregnant women should get the flu shot…but is it harmful to get the flu shot this early? Should I wait until I get to the secon trimester to get the flu shot??
Telling me to check with my doctor is a waste of an answer. Of course I’m going to check with my doctor. I want to know if other people got their flu shots in early pregnancy. Or do you typically wait??

Question about Flu Shots?

I had gotten a flu shot in early October last year. This year my doctor’s office had said to wait until like December because it only lasts three months, and to get it later in the year. I just wondered if anyone else had heard this too, and/or if this was true or not. thank you!

so i just found out that my unit has to get flu shots. im pregnant so can i get it too. I know flu shots are once every year. the last one i got was back in Jan.

The flu shot hurt me a lot, I am very sensitive to needles. How would a belly button piercing compare?
Flu shots hurt me because they go very deep into my skin. I’m not so sensitive about surface pain, I’m just trying to compare the pain to something other than a pinch that I’ve likely experienced before (I was way too young to remember my ear piercing).

Does gardisil hurt worse than a flu shot? Please be honest?

Does gardisal hurt worse than a flu shot. I have had 3 flu shots never a tecnes or any other shot. So just answer the flu shot one if you havent had one it feels like a stick is poking you. Please be honest I heard it felt like a pinprik but I don’t know what a pinprick feels like. Which gardisal hurts worse the first, second, or third shot. Please be honest.

is it bad if u get 2 flu shots in the same season, like a week after the first one?
2 Commentscuz my dad signed up at work for one but then got a shot at the doctor when he brought me. even tho they r both free he was wondering if it would be ok to get 2 shots
oh and is it ok if u get a flu shot while u have a sore throat? i was just wondering if it would take my sore throat longer to get better, not that it matters now cuz i already got the flu shot

Someone told me there is mercury in flu shots, Isn’t that illegal? I know it is for children’s immunization’s, but babies also get the flu shot. Surely they wouldn’t still be putting mercury in them? There is also formaldehyde and ether in them, is that true? What the heck, if this is true, who is looking out for the consumer?
I know that mercury is a neurotoxin, though. An amount the size of a pen point can contaminate water the size of an olympic pool. I don’t really think it would be “safe” in any amount?

flu shot during pregnancy?

I know they recommend flu shots while your pregnant…I just want to know if there is ever a time that is too late or too close to my due date. Im due feb. 8th, and want to get vaccinated…just don’t know if its too late.
