Flu transforming into Bronchitis? how does that happen?

Ok, sunday and monday i had flu like symptoms, feeling very very horrible. now its tuesday and i now have Bronchitis with a bad dry irritating cough. why did it transform, or is it still the flu? please help. and should i go to school tmrw?

I have been feeling better that past couple days, and today i woke up sore all over like i had been working out, and i have not, and lost all my energy. it feels like you do when you have a fever… just drained. i am sorry to ask, but i can’t find any answers on the web. I just need to know is it really possible to be sick with both at the same time?

I’m 22 weeks and 2 days pregnant and my morning sickness went away quite awhile ago. I’m getting frequent migranes, nausea, my body is very sore and sometimes it gets really hot and I get chills. I’ve been having trouble keeping food down for about 3 or 4 days. Im not sure if these are flu symptoms or maybe it’s something else. Has anyone caught this bug going around or know of the symptoms.

My sister is getting married Friday evening. My mom called this morning to tell me that she has the flu. It started yesterday and she feels horrible. She feels even worse since therer are so many things she needs to do to get ready for the wedding. I told her she just needs to rest and drink lots of fluids for the next 24 hours especially but can anyone recomend any over the counter medicines that might work to ease some of the symptoms for her like tomorrow and tomorrow evening until the wedding? Is there anything a dr. could prescribe?

2008 flu season and flu shot?

I got my flu shot in the middle of sept. I have to get one each year as I have asthma and I work with the public. Since the flu season got a late start here in Tx, will I still be protected? I’ve been reading that this year’s flu is not covered by the shot and if I do get it, I’ll be very sick. I work with a lady who did get a shot too, and she and all her kids were very very sick.
For those of you who did get a flu shot and did get the flu, are you symptoms as sever as if you didn’t get a shot. Does the flu shot offer any protection at all?

the first flue symptom i get is sore throat. and its worse than anything in my case. i get nasty rasor cut pain on my throat which makes me absolutely miserable during the night. also i tend to have too much saliva again during the night and i keep swallawing it and end up very nautious because of the acid build up in my tummy!! i **** it so bad!!!!
any good remedies, especially for the nasty throat!!????

she has flu symptoms that went away, and now she has lower back cramps. what do you think? pregnancy test said negative a week ago.
Idk yet she is supposed to have her period in a week or two.

Has anyone had a stomach flu while in labor?

Not the flu-like symptoms that come before labor, but an actual stomach bug? My husband had it out of nowhere on Sunday night (even though he felt fine all day) Flush at 6 - Vomitted at 8pm, 10pm, 11pm and felt better Monday..went back to work Tuesday (just sore now)
5 CommentsI am 38 wks 2 days, so I am trying not to stress. However, it is hard not to worry about labor AND being that sick. He has been sleeping on an air matress and using separate bathroom + I have been disinfecting like crazy.
Has anyone else gone thru this? Im worried about bringing a newborn into an infected house. I feel like I am playing the “waiting game” for labor and the stomach flu?

I went to the CDC website, but I can’t navigate to find out about this years flu. ( the symptoms, how long it will last, etc)
