Sick for days please help?
I went to my Pediatrician and she told me that I have something that mimics Influenza but its not as severe, they gave me some medicines Through this tube/pipe thing to see if I have pneumonia and I don’t. But here is the story. Thursday I had a bad cough Friday morning at 8:30 I passed out and I had a bad cough sore throat stuffy nose head ache eye ache in both eyes. I have had the same symptoms al weekend and today is Monday and today I’m getting Dizzy so I am fear full that I am going to pass out again. What do you think I have?

Additional Details
I have had severe shivers I don’t have a fever. It moves off and on to my stomache but she told me she thinks it is a cold or part INFLUENZA I am not sure what I have. Ususaly when I get sick I get verry sick. And I also have Hypoglycimia if that helps any. Please help

How long does it take to cure a cold with other help?
-15 year old MALE caucasian
-~140 pounds and 5′10″
-cold is in its beginning stages (about 3-4 days old)
-stuffy nose, sore throat, and alittle headace
-I’ve taken 2 pills of Vitamin C where each pill is 1000 MG, so a total of 2000 each day (so I’ve taken Vitamin C for 2 days (today and yesterday)
-Location: Rochester, NY
-Apparel: fairly warm > warm clothing (everything from body to legs to toes)
Based on these few things, what would be a good estimation of how long it will take to break out of this cold and be on the right track of cureness???

a headache
and a stuffy nose.
Do I have the flu or a bad cold??

My flu got worse. what should i do?
It only got a tiny bit better each day but I wasn’t well still.
I decided to go see the doctor on the 10th day, he gave me antibiotics, cough syrup, and told me to take tylenol when I have a fever.
It got better yesterday.. however, today I suddenly felt worse than the first day.. I now have a runny nose, headache, fever, cough, body pain and drowsiness.
Do you think it developed into something worse? Do you think the meds I’m taking does not have any effect on me? Should I go back to the doctor? How long will it last?
***NOTE: i didnt get a flu shot yet this year.
i’ve already spent 75% of my Christmas break in bed =(

Daughter has had high fevers off and on for 6 days now, Is this the flu?
She only had 104.4 the first day and 104.7 the second. Both went down with motrin and a tepid bath. Her fever has not went over 103.5 since. The doctor says it is just viral it needs time. Is he right?
Oh yah she has a cough, not too bad. Tylnol cold helps with that. My son and I got it from her! Husband is in hiding!
Day 7 fever still but not super high 100.-101~~Day 8 No fever! Doctor tested for strep NO and waiting for 2 other test results. I think it is just a LONG long flu.
